<span>Role Objective:<br><br>To lead and provide comprehensive technical leadership and engineering support for the Salam Air’s engine and APU fleet, including LEAP-1A and CFM56 engines. The role ensures continued airworthiness, operational reliability, cost-effective maintenance, and regulatory compliance of all powerplant assets throughout their lifecycle. This includes in-service support, shop visits, reliability improvement programs, lease management, and technical governance of engine and APU systems.<br><br>Duties and Responsibilities:<br><br>• Provide cost-effective engineering and technical support for the operation and maintenance of the engine and APU fleet, ensuring that technical issues are resolved in a timely manner to minimize operational disruption and maximize aircraft availability.<br><br>• Support MCC by providing real-time troubleshooting assistance for engine and APU-related defects and by ensuring that engineering decisions support safe and continued flight operations.<br><br>• Provide technical input and assistance during line and base maintenance activities, including C-checks and other heavy maintenance inputs when required.<br><br>• Investigate in-service engine and APU events, delays, and repetitive technical issues in order to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions that improve reliability and reduce operational impact.<br><br>• Monitor engine and APU health through EHM systems, including analysis of CNRs and FMX trend data, ensuring that all alerts and deviations are properly assessed and acted upon.<br><br>• Participate actively in aircraft and powerplant reliability programs in collaboration with service providers, ensuring that technical analysis is translated into improved maintenance practices and enhanced operational procedures.<br><br>• Monitor and analyze engine and APU oil consumption trends on a continuous basis to identify abnormal patterns, support troubleshooting activities, and optimize maintenance planning decisions.<br><br>• Manage engine and APU shop visit activities, including preparation of induction packages, definition of maintenance work scopes, establishment of escalation criteria, and coordination with MRO providers to ensure successful execution of maintenance inputs.<br><br>• Review shop visit findings, release documentation, and technical reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with approved maintenance requirements.<br><br>• Prepare and issue detailed post–shop visit reports that summarize maintenance activities performed, findings identified, compliance status, and recommended follow-up actions for engineering and operational stakeholders.<br><br>• Assess SBs, ADs, and OEM engineering instructions to ensure full compliance with continuing airworthiness requirements in accordance with applicable regulatory frameworks such as Part-M or equivalent standards.<br><br>• Ensure that all regulatory and quality audit findings related to engines and APUs are addressed in a timely and effective manner to maintain full compliance and operational integrity.<br><br>• Review AMP variation requests as delegated by the Manager Technical Services, providing detailed technical evaluation and recommendations to ensure continued airworthiness and OEM compliance.<br><br>• Manage engine and APU modification standards and specifications, ensuring that all configuration changes and technical upgrades are properly evaluated, approved, and implemented in coordination with OEMs and relevant engineering authorities.<br><br>• Oversee engine and APU removal procedures in accordance with approved engineering practices, ensuring that documentation, preservation requirements, inventory control, and storage conditions are properly executed prior to transfer or shipment.<br><br>• Manage long-term storage and preservation of engines and APUs in accordance with OEM requirements and regulatory standards, ensuring continued asset integrity and airworthiness readiness.<br><br>• Coordinate engine and APU transportation and logistics activities with internal logistics teams and external MRO providers to ensure safe and efficient movement of assets.<br><br>• Review leased engine and APU documentation upon receipt and ensure proper technical assessment and compliance with lease terms.<br><br>• Manage end-of-lease return activities for engines and APUs in accordance with lessor requirements and contractual obligations.<br><br>• Review engine and APU invoices, maintenance reserves, and financial reconciliations in coordination with Finance and Commercial departments to ensure accuracy and contractual compliance.<br><br>• Monitor spare engine and APU availability against removal forecasts in order to optimize fleet support and maximize aircraft availability.<br><br>• Liaise with OEMs to resolve in-service engine and APU issues, including those outside published documentation, ensuring timely technical clarification and implementation of approved corrective actions.<br><br>• Coordinate with OEMs, approved design organizations, and service providers to support structural engineering assessments for nacelle components, including damage evaluation and repair scheme approval.<br><br>• Issue Technical Notices in accordance with OEM guidance and internal engineering standards to ensure consistent technical communication across stakeholders.<br><br>• Review engine and APU parts documentation provided by the Technical Materials department to ensure full compliance with applicable technical standards and specifications prior to acceptance.<br><br>• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability of all engine and APU technical records, maintenance documentation, and shop visit reports.<br><br>• Maintain and continuously improve internal engineering processes and procedures related to engine and APU management.<br><br>• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing engine reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and improving operational efficiency across the fleet.<br><br>• Contribute to the development and implementation of fleet-wide engineering best practices and technical standards.<br><br>• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by superiors.<br><br></span><br><span>Requirements • Graduate in Review and endorse environmental submissions, permit applications, technical studies and regulatory reports within delegated authority: maintain oversight of permits, licence condition and compliance obligation. Lead strategic engagement with regulatory authorities, lenders, joint venture partners, industry bodies and other stakeholders on environmental management, compliance and sustainability matters. Ensure compliance with lender environmental requirements, IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and other applicable international commitments. 3. Decarbonization & Net Zero Integration Lead environmental sustainability, emissions reduction, decarbonization and climate-related environmental initiatives, including GHG monitoring, reporting and performance improvement programs, directly supporting the Company s decarbonization roadmap and net zero targets. Provide environmental input to sustainability disclosures, corporate reports, emissions inventories and other approved external reporting requirements. Establish environmental KPIs, reporting standards and performance expectations and present material risks, trends and improvement priorities to management. 4. Team Leadership & Capability Lead the Environmental Management team, allocate responsibilities and hold team members accountable for agreed objectives, technical quality and timely delivery. Develop team competence, professional capability, knowledge transfer, succession and Omanisation plans. Promote environmental awareness, accountability and consistent application of environmental requirements among employees and contractors. 5. Assurance & Risk Oversight Govern environmental impact assessments, baseline studies, environmental risk assessments and other technical studies for operations, projects and facility modifications; ensure environmental risks and controls are addressed throughout project development, including concept selection, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, start-up and handover. Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, compliance evaluations and management-assurance reviews and monitor findings through effective closure. <li>Performs host country customs clearances and liaises with military and host country ministries on import and export for border customs clearances, airport customs clearances, and seaport clearances.</li>
<li>Selects and initiates contact with local carriers to arrange appropriate transport equipment for containers, classified, sensitive, hazardous, or outsized shipments based on the size, weight, commodity description, freight classification, required delivery date, priority, or other special requirements.</li>
<li>Loads/unloads 463L pallets, equipment, vehicles, and ISO containers from flat-bed/low-bed trucks. May assist in loading/unloading military vessels at the seaport.</li>
<li>Assists the Pallet and Net Managers with inspections, issuing, accounting, controlling, reporting, and maintaining operation stock levels of 463L pallets, nets, and other tie-down equipment located on-site.</li>
<li>Assists the WPM Custodian with inspecting and certification, record keeping, and reporting the receipt and usage requirements.</li>
<li>Assists the CCO with completing the monthly container inventory, ensuring all containers located on-site are inventoried between the 1st and 30th day of each month.</li>
<li>Reports all lost, damaged, destroyed, and modified containers to the CCO within 12 hours of discovery.</li>
<li>Performs container inspections and reports findings on the DA 2404 equipment inspection and maintenance worksheet.</li>
<li>Receives/ships all containers in JCM within 12 hours of receipt or departure.</li>
<li>Operates GATES and ICODES to process and manifest cargo and to develop load plans for military and commercial aircraft.</li>
<li>Prepares, inspects, reviews, and submits preload plans, hazardous materials diplomatic clearances (HAZDIP), and other documents to facilitate air movement.</li>
<li>Inspects cargo documentation, conducts joint inspections, and certifies that cargo is built correctly and airworthy.</li>
<li>Computes weight and balance and certifies weight distribution of the aircraft with passengers, cargo, and baggage.</li>
<li>Determines cargo configuration and aircraft loading requirements in accordance with Air Transportability Test Loading Activity Certifications (ATTLA).</li>
<li>Loads, unloads, and services aircraft. Ensures cargo loads are secure and tied down. Assists load team chief with selecting, assembling, palletizing, and transporting cargo loads to and from aircraft and storage areas.</li>
<li>Safely transports and handles explosives.</li>
<li>Performs passenger service procedures, check-in, manifests passengers and baggage, and performs security checks. Loads/unloads passengers and baggage from aircraft.</li>
<li>Performs weighing of cargo, vehicles, and outsized cargo to determine the center of balance for rolling stock and ensures cargo dimensions are within pallet and aircraft limitations.</li>
<li>Implements, documents, and controls quality, training, environment, and safety programs.</li>
<li>Prepares and handles cargo in accordance with all prescribed regulations, instructions, technical orders, and procedures.</li>
<li>Accomplishes receiving process for all inbound cargo functions of MILSTRIP and NON-MILSTRIP shipments addressed to the host installation SRAN in accordance with regulation.</li>
<li>Maintains technical orders, publications, forms, and files required for traffic management operations.</li>
<li>Compiles data and submits reports and other correspondence as required.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.</li>

<h4>Minimum Requirements</h4>
