<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and threats.</li><li>Perform security investigations, root cause analysis, and incident response activities.</li><li>Manage and maintain cybersecurity technologies and security controls.</li><li>Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.</li><li>Review and analyze security logs from various security platforms and devices.</li><li>Support security monitoring, threat detection, and threat hunting activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security improvements.</li><li>Prepare security reports and provide recommendations to management.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><p>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Security Monitoring, or Security Engineering.</li><li>Experience working in SOC environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, network security, endpoint security, and incident response.</li><li>Experience working in Fortinet environments, including administration and monitoring of Fortinet security solutions.</li><li>Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and Vulnerability Management solutions.</li><li>Good understanding of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and networking concepts.</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Certifications:</p><ul><li>Fortinet Certifications (FCP, FCSS, or equivalent) if available</li><li>CEH</li><li>CompTIA Security+</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Candidate Profile:</p><ul><li>Experience supporting enterprise security operations.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple security activities.</li><li>Strong knowledge of incident handling and threat analysis.</li><li>Omani candidates are preferred; however, other Arab nationalities currently residing in Oman will also be considered</li></ul><p><br></p></div>
