The role focuses on improving process performance, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design, evaluate, and optimize chemical processes and production systems.</li><li>Monitor plant operations and analyze process performance to identify improvement opportunities.</li><li>Conduct process calculations, simulations, and technical evaluations.</li><li>Support troubleshooting activities and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.</li><li>Prepare process documentation, technical reports, operating procedures, and engineering calculations.</li><li>Participate in plant commissioning, startup, shutdown, and process modification activities.</li><li>Coordinate with operations, maintenance, laboratory, and project teams to achieve production objectives.</li><li>Evaluate raw materials, equipment performance, and production efficiency.</li><li>Support process safety management initiatives and risk assessments.</li><li>Assist in implementing cost reduction, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement programs.</li><li>Provide technical support and training to operational personnel.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required)</li><li>Internship or academic projects in chemical engineering or industrial processes are an advantage.</li></ul><p>Technical Skills</p><ul><li>Basic knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process design, and optimization.</li><li>Familiarity with process calculations, mass and energy balances, and engineering analysis.</li><li>Understanding of process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar (advantage).</li><li>Awareness of process safety management and risk assessment concepts.</li><li>Basic knowledge of industrial equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret PFDs, P&amp;IDs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li></ul><p>Soft Skills</p><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.</li><li>Good organizational and documentation skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.</li></ul><p>Working Conditions</p><p>Office and plant-based work environments. <ul><li><p>We are looking for a chemical engineer/formulation chemist to develop formulas for products like rust removers, silicon sealants, Cpvc glue and similar products, We need a custom formulation, laboratory samples, performance testing and manufactuing experince of these products.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Possesses a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma, or experience in this field.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates 3+ years of experience in the chemical or related manufacturing industry, showcasing practical application.</p></li><li><p>Exhibits a strong understanding on how to produce these products and must know how to formulate them.</p></li></ul>

<p>Under direct supervision, trains and becomes familiar with the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties. Performs duties to conduct prototype or laboratory tests following prescribed procedures. Learns to build equipment and/or perform basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques with electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment. Learns to document test data for reporting purposes. Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and test results of equipment. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Skills : Chemist , Laboratory Ops / Tech <br> Education : High School/Secondary <br> Skills typically through eight (8) hours of college chemistry (preferred).</p>
