<p>The F-16 C/D Electrical and Environmental (E&E) Specialist fabricates, maintains, and tests electronic systems and components. Adjusts, repairs, and when necessary, modifies systems and components, and replaces malfunctioning equipment as needed. May be responsible for requirements analysis, systems analysis, performance analysis, and independent test and acceptance of system components.</p>
<h4>Duties & responsibilities:</h4>

<li>Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft E&E systems, components, and associated support equipment.</li>
<li>Uses technical data, wiring diagrams, ohm meters, electronic measuring equipment, GSE and special tools. Expert level in accomplishing and training of wire repair procedures.</li>
<li>Uploads operational software, flight programs (OFP) into system components and maintains currency and software upgrade efficiency.</li>
<li>Expert level to inspect, analyze and evaluate electrical and environmental systems malfunctions, aircraft heating/air conditioning, avionics cooling, cabin pressure, OBOGS, fire and overheat detection systems, AC power system, DC power system, external power system, lighting system to include exterior, interior, emergency, position lights, anti-collision, formation, slipway lights, taxi light.</li>
<li>Remove, install, adjust, operational check, bench-check, service the following: landing gear system, handle, control switches, arresting hook indication/canopy indication/overheat fire/master caution/fuel warning and control systems, anti-skid, brake holding, nose gear steering, secondary flight control, engine bleed air, fire extinguishing system, squibs, fire bottles, start and ignition/air conditioning/pressurization systems and liquid cooling systems.</li>
<li>Interprets inspection findings and determines adequacy of corrective actions.</li>
<li>Reviews maintenance management publications, time compliance technical orders and procedures for accuracy and currency, confirms corrective actions and accuracy of aircraft maintenance records.</li>
<li>Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures. Acts as quality assurance for the trade.</li>
<li>Performs OJT and instruction, supervises and accepts work performed by RAFO technicians, acts as supervisor and mentor for the shop and directs daily maintenance performed.</li>
<li>Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification.</li>

<li>Must be willing to train to other aircraft maintenance tasks as required.</li>

<p><h4>Facilities maintenance clerk</h4>
<p>The facilities maintenance clerk performs all technical support, administrative tasks and duties as required supporting the operations of the Amentum facilities maintenance staff. Responsible for PSO headquarters and GPMS sites' facilities special initiatives and preventive maintenance program, implementation of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and coordinating activities. Manages scheduling and tracking of work orders from initiation through completion. Updates, reviews, annotates and files all related historical records and assists facilities maintenance staff in submission of required reports. Ensures compliance with performance work statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS).</p>
<h4>Principal accountabilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Creates manual historical records for facilities maintenance assets that are subject to periodic maintenance.</li>
<li>Keeps facility maintenance record binders and electronic records up to date from various sources of information.</li>
<li>Assists in annual updating the real property listing for assigned site.</li>
<li>Keeps a technical library on facility maintenance and fixed equipment up to date.</li>
<li>Inputs equipment data and updates maintenance details in the computerized maintenance management system (when applicable).</li>
<li>Logs all scheduled and unscheduled work orders for the facilities maintenance team.</li>
<li>Receives and passes all completed work orders to the superintendent/supervisor for document review.</li>
