The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our luxury jewellery retail business while supporting the day-to-day operations of the showroom. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, inventory control, financial reporting, and retail operations within the gold, jewellery, or luxury retail sector.</p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage all daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial transactions.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate accounting records for gold, jewellery, diamonds, precious stones, and luxury accessories.</p></li><li><p>Perform daily reconciliation of sales, cash, bank deposits, POS transactions, and inventory movements.</p></li><li><p>Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory records.</p></li><li><p>Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment schedules.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with local and international suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.</p></li><li><p>Prepare payroll, banking transactions, bank reconciliations, and periodic financial reports.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.</p></li><li><p>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.</p></li><li><p>Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular internal audits of financial records, cash handling procedures, and inventory transactions.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate financial records for vendors, customers, and business partners.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the financial and operational aspects of the jewellery showroom to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.</p></li><li><p>Monitor daily sales performance and verify the accuracy of sales transactions, cash collections, and POS records.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the sales team to ensure proper documentation of customer orders, bespoke orders, and product deliveries.</p></li><li><p>Monitor inventory movements, stock transfers, stock counts, and inventory discrepancies while ensuring the accuracy of inventory records.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and luxury retail operating standards throughout the showroom.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Store Management to maintain product availability, inventory accuracy, and timely replenishment of fast-moving items.</p></li><li><p>Prepare operational and financial reports related to showroom performance, sales trends, inventory levels, and profitability.</p></li><li><p>Support periodic stock audits and annual inventory counts, ensuring accurate reconciliation of high-value assets including gold, jewellery, diamonds, and precious stones.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Store Management, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Executive Management to ensure operational excellence and business efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Support both internal and external auditors by providing all required financial records and documentation.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>5 years</strong> of relevant accounting experience.</p></li><li><p><strong>Mandatory experience in the Gold, Jewellery, Precious Metals, or Luxury Retail industry.</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and cost control.</p></li><li><p>Experience with ERP systems is required.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of VAT regulations and multi-currency transactions.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in inventory reconciliation and stock valuation within a retail environment.</p></li><li><p>Professional certifications such as <strong>CMA, ACCA, CPA</strong>, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.</p></li><li><p>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p>High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.</p></li></ul><br><p>Become part of an exciting new luxury jewellery brand and contribute to delivering excellence, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer experiences.</p><br><p><strong>"Together, we create timeless elegance."</strong></p><br></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>.</p><p></p></section>

I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.</p><br><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;</u></strong><br>As Commis Baker, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:&nbsp;<br>• Checks production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.<br>• Measures and mixes ingredients to form dough or batter.<br>• Rolls, cuts, and shapes dough to form rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, and related products. Cuts, peels, and prepares fruit for fillings.<br>• Places dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in oven. Observes products while cooking and adjusts controls.<br>• Mixes icings and other toppings and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.<br>• Uses a variety of kitchen tools, including electric mixers, pans, rolling pins, and cutting tools.<br>• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.<br>• Complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules and guidelines.<br>• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.<br>• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.<br>• Has a complete understanding of, and adheres to the company’s policy relating to fire, hygiene and safety.<br>• Works in any section of the kitchen when necessary, due to business levels or colleague shortages.<br>• Fully understands the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets.<br>• Be present throughout service.<br>• Has a good knowledge of menus.&nbsp;<br>• Maintains at all times the highest standard of social skills.<br>• Reports any maintenances faults following the required steps.<br>• Maintains efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.&nbsp;<br>• Ensure all equipment and working area are kept clean and in good working condition.&nbsp;<br>• Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.<br>• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation.
