<p>STAGE – Etude d'alignement d'une centrale inertielle par méthode « Inertial Frame Alignment » F/H</p><br><br><p>Stage</p><br><br><p>6 mois</p><br><br><p>Etudiant</p><br><br><p>Temps complet</p><br><br><p>Une centrale inertielle est un équipement dont le but est de fournir à chaque instant sa position, sa vitesse et son orientation. Elle est constituée entres autres :<br>• De capteurs inertiels (gyromètres et accéléromètres) permettant d'estimer la quantité de mouvement subie par le porteur,<br>• De capteurs non-inertiels (baromètre, odomètre, loch, récepteur GNSS, caméra, …) améliorant la localisation du porteur à l'aide d'un algorithme de fusion de données (généralement un Filtre de Kalman Etendu).<br>Les systèmes de navigation inertielle nécessitent une phase d'initialisation appelée alignement qui a pour but principal d'estimer l'orientation de la centrale par rapport au Nord et à la verticale.<br>Les méthodes classiques d'alignement, de type gyrocompas, s'appuient sur la comparaison des informations de localisation position ou vitesse de la centrale avec des informations de capteurs externes : recalage vitesse nulle à l'arrêt, loch, GNSS, odomètre...<br>Une approche alternative, appelée Inertial Frame Alignement, consiste à :<br>• Reconstituer la trajectoire du vecteur pesanteur dans un repère inertiel,<br>• Exploiter le fait que ce vecteur décrit un cône autour de l'axe de rotation de la terre.<br>• En déduire la position de l'axe de rotation de la terre et la pesanteur par rapport à la centrale inertielle,<br>• En déduire les attitudes du porteur : Cap, tangage et roulis.<br>La méthode, déjà documentée pour des alignements statiques devrait avoir le potentiel pour être utilisée lors d'un alignement en mouvement.<br>Objectifs du stage :<br>• Développer et évaluer en simulation un algorithme d'alignement IFA,<br>• Expliciter les principes de la méthode avec des outils 3D adaptés à la problématique,<br>• Positionner ce principe vis-à-vis de l'état de l'art : identifier les avantages et les limites de la méthode en comparaison avec les techniques classiques d'alignement (avec filtres de Kalman ou filtres Invariants) : complexité, sensibilité aux mouvements, aux vibrations, à la latitude, à la durée d'alignement, aux erreurs des capteurs inertiels,…<br>Les travaux du stage consistent à :<br>• Acquérir la connaissance du fonctionnement des centrales inertielles et en, particulier de la problématique d'initialisation ou alignement,<br>• Mener une étude bibliographique sur la méthode IFA,<br>• Définir et simuler les algorithmes d'alignement IFA selon plusieurs scénarios :<br> o En statique,<br> o Avec mouvements angulaires pendant l'alignement,<br> o Avec mouvements de translation pendant l'alignement,<br>• Vulgariser cette méthode à l'aide d'outils adaptés : simulations, animations 3D…<br>• Évaluer les performances de la méthode IFA à partir de données d'essais réelles ou de données simulées,<br>• Comparer avec les méthodes classiques d'alignement.</p><br><br><p>Ce que nous vous offrons :<br>• Un environnement de travail dynamique et stimulant où les défis techniques et de collaboration multi-équipes se côtoient quotidiennement.<br>• L'opportunité de travailler sur des technologies de pointe et de contribuer à des innovations qui feront la différence.<br>• Un accompagnement dans votre montée en compétences et connaissances,<br>• Une équipe passionnée et collaborative qui valorise l'excellence et l'épanouissement personnel.<br>Curiosité, autonomie, passion des technologies de pointe et esprit d'équipe sont les moteurs de votre réussite.<br>Prêt(e) à relever le défi ? <p><b>Job purpose :</b></p>
<p>Provide subject matter expertise in Reservoir Engineering to support investment valuations, subsurface assessments, and strategic decision-making within the Commercial function. The role delivers authoritative technical input into asset evaluations, opportunity screening, and portfolio analysis by applying advanced reservoir engineering knowledge to economic and commercial frameworks.</p>

<p>The position will act in accordance with the OQEP s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, QHSE & Energy Management System requirements standards, Omani s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.</p>
<p><b>Main tasks and responsibilities </b></p>
<p> Provide expert reservoir engineering input to support investment valuations, asset acquisitions, divestments, and farm-in/farm-out evaluations within the Commercial function. </p>
<p> Lead subsurface technical assessments including reserves and resources estimation, production forecasting, and field performance analysis in support of commercial transactions and portfolio reviews. </p>
<p> Conduct and quality-assure reservoir simulation studies, material balance analyses, and decline curve analyses to underpin volumetric and economic evaluations. </p>
<p> Provide independent technical review and challenge of subsurface assumptions used in investment cases, business development notes, and project initiation notes. </p>
<p> Support due diligence processes for upstream opportunities, including data room visits and technical assessment of third-party assets. </p>
<p> Collaborate with the Economics & Planning function to integrate subsurface uncertainty ranges into economic models, sensitivity analyses, and risk-weighted valuations. </p>
<p> Develop and maintain reservoir engineering standards, tools, and workflows relevant to the Commercial function's investment evaluation process. </p>
<p> Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers within the team. </p>
<p> Represent OQEP in technical forums, joint venture meetings, and partner discussions on reservoir engineering matters as required. </p>
<p> Liaise with operated and non-operated asset teams to gather subsurface data and validate technical assumptions used in commercial evaluations. </p>
<p> Contribute to the preparation of investment proposals, executive summaries, and board-level presentations related to upstream opportunities. </p>
<p> Ensure all technical evaluations and reports are documented in accordance with company Data Management Standards. </p>
<p> Support the continuous improvement of valuation methodologies and best practices within the Investment Valuations & Strategy function. </p>
<p> Actively participate in and promote OQEP's HSE culture, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with HSE policies, procedures, and targets. </p>
