Release Strategy</p><p>Own deployment architecture and environment strategy (development, test, staging, production), including environment promotion and configuration management.</p><p>Define release governance deployment runbooks, rollback/back-out plans, and post-deployment verification and oversee controlled releases of significant changes.</p><p>Coordinate change windows and cutovers with IT Operations, Infrastructure, Database, Cybersecurity, and vendor teams to protect availability and performance.</p><p>EDRMS / ECM Platform Architecture</p><p>Own the architecture and roadmap of the EDRMS platform (e.g. OpenText Documentum, D2, Content Server, or similar) as a core managed platform.</p><p>Design document-management workflows, metadata models, taxonomy, classification, retention rules, access controls, and integration points, ensuring records compliance and data quality.</p><p>Direct migration, indexing, metadata improvement, OCR, and search-optimisation activities, working with specialist engineers and vendors for deep configuration and build.</p><p>Integration Architecture</p><p>Design secure, resilient integrations between EDRMS / business applications and ERP (e.g. SAP), SharePoint/M365, databases, portals, and identity-management systems using APIs, web services, and connectors.</p><p>Define standards for authentication, error handling, monitoring, and data quality across integrations.</p><p>Technical Leadership, Support Oversight &amp; <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p>ABOUT THE JOB</p><br><p>The Omnichannel Architecture Governance community is regrouping architects from all our Tech Divisions, Regions and Functions to trigger, support or help accelerate initiatives and projects by providing architects with a cohesive set of principles, tools, strategies and a network of excellence.</p><br><p>CHANEL's Information Systems Department has completed a key milestone in its transformation by migrating its Enterprise Architecture repository to LeanIX.</p><br><p>After initial deployment, we are now entering a phase to broaden its usage and bring additional use cases. In our current organization, we are looking for a leader capable to drive the development of this inventory into a true strategic steering cockpit for the Group.</p><br><p>Within Chanel’s Global IT organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the Maison understands, governs, and evolves its technology landscape. As the Architecture Referential Product Owner, you will be the driving force behind our Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) platform, ensuring it becomes a trusted source of truth for IT and business stakeholders across the globe.</p><br><p>You will sit at the crossroads of technology strategy, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration. You will interact daily with Enterprise Architects, IT domain leaders, application owners across regions, divisions and functions. You will have direct visibility into how Chanel plans, rationalises, and transforms its application portfolio to support its long-term ambitions.</p><br><p>You will help shape architectural decisions that touch every corner of the House — from boutique operations and client engagement to supply chain and corporate functions. Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or functional lead for an enterprise-scale platform.</p><br></li><li><p><b>Technical acumen</b>: A solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate), IT portfolio management concepts, and application lifecycle management. Familiarity with integration patterns (APIs, data feeds) and adjacent IT management tools.</p><br></li><li><p><b>Stakeholder engagement</b>: A natural ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders across IT functions. <p>The Senior Power System Secondary Engineer acts as the technical authority on behalf of the project developer, providing independent oversight, review, and verification of all secondary systems engineering across utility-scale renewable energy plants (Solar PV, Wind) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role is pivotal in ensuring that designs delivered by EPC contractors and specialist consultants are technically sound, safe, cost-effective, and fully compliant with International Best Practices, utility / TSO requirements, and applicable International Standards (IEC, IEEE/ANSI). </p><br><p>Design Review & Verification</p><ul><li><p>Lead the review and verification of all secondary design deliverables — including Single Line</p></li></ul><p>Diagrams (SLDs), Protection & Metering Diagrams (PMDs), Block Logic Diagrams (BLDs), AC/DC</p><p>schematics, and LV System Design Documents — for HV substations and renewable plants.</p><ul><li><p>Verify protection and control philosophies, including relay settings, selectivity analyses, and</p></li></ul><p>coordination studies (short-circuit calculations, CT/VT sizing) prepared by consultants and EPC</p><p>contractors.</p><ul><li><p>Review and approve interlocking schemes, bay-level logic, and station-level automation across</p></li></ul><p>switchgear, transformers, feeders, and renewable energy plant interfaces.</p><p>Substation Automation & SCADA</p><ul><li><p>Approve substation automation and SCADA architectures, ensuring correct implementation of IED</p></li></ul><p>logic, signal lists, and interlocking schemes at bay and station levels.</p><ul><li><p>Oversee the integration and configuration of communication protocols — IEC 61850</p></li></ul><p>(GOOSE/SV/MMS), IEC 60870-5-104, and DNP3 — governing data flow between Plant Power</p><p>Controllers (PPC/EMS), substations, and utility control centers.</p><ul><li><p>Review IED configurations, substation HMI displays, and historian / data management architectures</p></li></ul><p>for completeness and compliance.</p><p>Telecommunications & Cybersecurity</p><ul><li><p>Review and validate communication and telecommunication architectures, including managed</p></li></ul><p>network design (VLANs, PRP/HSR redundancy), cybersecurity policies (IEC 62351 / NERC-CIP</p><p>aligned), and tele-protection performance requirements.</p><p>Standards, Compliance & Grid Code Adherence</p><ul><li><p>Ensure strict adherence to international standards and grid codes (IEC, IEEE/ANSI) by performing</p></li></ul><p>technical audits and vetting technical submissions to Transmission / Distribution System Operators</p><p>(TSO/DSO).</p><ul><li><p>Manage technical interfaces and coordinate between EPC contractors, engineering consultants,</p></li></ul><p>OEMs, and the grid operator to ensure a coherent and optimized secondary systems design.</p><p>Testing, Commissioning & Project Governance</p><ul><li><p>Provide technical governance during critical project phases, including witnessing Factory</p></li></ul><p>Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and reviewing commissioning</p><p>procedures for all secondary systems.</p><ul><li><p>Review and approve test plans, testing protocols, punch lists, and commissioning records to ensure</p></li></ul><p>safe energization of HV substations and plant systems.</p><ul><li><p>Act as the Owner’s Engineer representative in te</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Education</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a closely related field.</p></li><li><p>Professional Engineering registration (PE / CEng or equivalent) is an advantage.</p></li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li><p>8+ years of engineering experience with a demonstrable focus on substation secondary systems</p></li></ul><p>design and delivery.</p><ul><li><p>Significant experience in a developer, owner’s engineer, or utility role with direct responsibility for</p></li></ul><p>managing and challenging EPC contractor deliverables.</p><ul><li><p>Proven track record on grid-connected utility-scale renewable energy projects (Solar PV, Wind)</p></li></ul><p>and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).</p><ul><li><p>Experience working across the full project lifecycle from FEED and detailed design through to FAT,</p></li></ul><p>SAT, and commercial operation</p>
