Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and standards set by the Head Chef.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items and ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to the established recipes and cooking techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of food orders.
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Experience in Lebanese cuisine will be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively oversee kitchen operations and mentor junior staff.
- A creative and passionate approach to culinary arts, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications will be an advantage.
