Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording income and expenses, tracking pending payments from multiple platforms (cash, POS, Paymob, Viator, etc.), preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy in cash and bank reconciliations. This role is critical to maintaining financial control and reporting transparency for our tourism operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Financial Recording:
  • Record all income and expenses for each trip and department.
  • Maintain accurate records for cash, bank, card, online transfers, and booking platforms.
• Payment Tracking & Reconciliation:
  • Monitor pending payments and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Reconcile daily and monthly income with booking records and bank statements.
  • Track installment payments, vendor invoices, and employee dues.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports (revenue, cost breakdowns, profit/loss).
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Alert management of any discrepancies or unusual financial activity.
• Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain organized records for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in VAT filings and ensure proper invoice formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or service sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
