The platform is a greenfield central securities depository being built to go-live in 2027.</p> <p>We are hiring an Operations Lead to design the operational function from a blank sheet in Build, and then operate it in Run. Issuers, primary dealers, custodians, settlement banks, and investors will depend on this platform to do what it says it will do, on time, every time, without exception. The Operations Lead is the person accountable for making that happen day after day once the platform is live.</p> <p>Scope is all operational activity except controls. The successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Hold consistently high expectations of all students and believe in every student’s potential;</li> <li>Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Cambridge and Edexcel physics curriculum and assessment requirements;</li> <li>Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that challenge and stretch all students;</li> <li>Embed practical investigation and laboratory safety at the heart of teaching and learning;</li> <li>Use assessment data effectively to inform planning and support student progress;</li> <li>Prepare students confidently for external examinations;</li> <li>Encourage curiosity about the physical world and link physics to real-world applications and emerging technologies;</li> <li>Contribute positively to a collaborative faculty and wider-school community;</li> <li>Be confident and competent in using digital tools to support research, presentations and assessments;</li> <li>Create a purposeful, inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and high standards;</li> <li>Contribute actively to the school’s ‘one team’ ethos through collaboration and professional openness;</li> <li>Work in close partnership with parents to support students’ progress and wellbeing;</li> <li>Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.</li> </ul> <h4>Application process</h4> <p>Applications should be submitted via the TES online portal.
