<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<strong>Engineering & technical leadership</strong><br>

<li>Lead all telecommunications scope during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases</li>
<li>Review and validate telecom engineering deliverables, including:

<li>Network architecture and system layouts</li>
<li>Telecom block diagrams and schematics</li>
<li>Fiber optic, structured cabling, and routing drawings</li>
</ul>

<li>Ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with:
<ul>
<li>Project specifications</li>
<li>Approved drawings and procedures</li>
<li>Applicable international standards (IEC, ITU-T, ISO, IEEE)</li>

<strong>Systems scope</strong><br>
<p>Responsible for the following systems, including integration and interface management:</p>

<li>Telecom network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, IP/MPLS where applicable)</li>
<li>Fiber optic and copper cabling systems</li>
<li>Telephone systems (PABX/IP telephony)</li>
<li>CCTV and video surveillance systems</li>
<li>Access control and security systems</li>
<li>Public address & general alarm (PAGA) systems</li>
<li>Radio systems (TETRA/UHF/VHF, where applicable)</li>
<li>Data and server room equipment (racks, switches, UPS interfaces)</li>

<strong>Pre-commissioning & commissioning activities</strong><br>

<li>Develop and review:

<li>Pre-commissioning check sheets</li>
<li>Commissioning procedures and test scripts</li>

<li>Lead telecom system testing activities such as:

<li>Point-to-point testing</li>

<li>Network performance and redundancy tests</li>

<li>Coordinate vendor attendance and factory acceptance/site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) support</li>
<li>Monitor commissioning progress and proactively resolve technical issues</li>
</ul>
<strong>Site coordination & management</strong><br>

<li>Act as single point of contact for telecom discipline on site</li>
<li>Coordinate daily activities with:
<ul>
<li>Construction teams</li>
<li>Commissioning teams</li>
<li>Other engineering disciplines</li>
<li>Client/operations representatives</li>

<li>Manage and support telecom engineers and technicians on site</li>
<li>Participate in site walkdowns, punch listing, and system handover activities</li>
</ul>
<strong>Quality, safety & compliance</strong><br>

<li>Ensure compliance with:

<li>Company quality standards</li>
<li>Telecommunications industry best practices</li>

<h4>Requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in:
<ul>
<li>Telecommunications Engineering</li>
<li>Electrical/Electronics Engineering</li>
<li>Or related discipline</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Relevant professional certifications (but not mandatory)</li>
<li>Minimum 10-15 years of experience in telecommunications engineering</li>
<li>Proven experience as Telecom Lead Engineer on large industrial projects, preferably:
<ul>
<li>Oil & Gas</li>
<li>LNG</li>
<li>Petrochemical</li>
<li>Power or heavy industrial facilities</li>
</ul>

<li>Strong hands-on experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning phases</li>
<li>Prior site-based project experience in the Middle East is highly desirable</li>
