<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Execute Electrical Maintenance Works B-60, under delegated authority and direction from TL Maintenance B60 as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards to maintain the assets through: (1) Leading the design Maintenance Electrical services on planned / un-planned maintenance works utilizing best practice. (2) Coordination and supervision of assets, products and maintenance work in the designated area, (3) Implement plans and coordinate Electrical maintenance works; in order to ensure plant equipment availability, reliability &amp; optimization of cost / resources while facilitating smooth operations of the plant to meet operational targets.</p><p>The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values &amp; Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government &amp; other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.</p><p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities</strong></p><p>Accountable for continuous flow of electrical power to plant / Substations / buildings.</p><p>Ensure application of best work practices in execution of electrical maintenance jobs.</p><p>Responsible for electrical side of project implementation in Gas Network facilities.</p><p>Implements the Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan within his section and execution along with work backlogs</p><p>Prepares procurement plan for his section.</p><p>Responsible for issuing Work Permits on electrical side and implementing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure.</p><p>In emergency drills or emergency situations maintains close liaison with On-Scene Commander and Operation Coordinator, for ensuring quick restoration of power.</p><p>Participate in Management of Change (MOC) committee review meetings.</p><p>Ensure electrical equipment maintenance history &amp; reports are updated in SAP (CMMS)</p><p>Implements the Corrective Maintenance (CM) plan within his section and execution along with work backlogs</p><p>Ensure to raise Z1 notification for CM activity in SAP</p><p>Identify the critical issues, repetitive failure of Electrical equipment, done and the RCA Recommendations implemented for the area</p><p>Monitors staff attendance, attitude and implements discipline within the section.</p><p>Prepare annual leave plans</p><p>Full technical &amp; manpower support during plants shutdown.</p><p>Determines long term Electrical maintenance policy and oversees detailed planning of maintenance activities and programs.</p><p>Reviews policies of warehouse materials/spare parts and determines strategy of their handling and procurement and ensures availability.</p><p>Coordinates efforts within the Section to develop guidelines, specifications, best practices and procedures for maintenance</p><p>Maintains technical expertise in functional areas.</p><p>Carries out the technical evaluation of bids and generates the evaluation report.</p><p>Develops IDP of Omanis within the section, prepares training programs and monitors their implementation</p><p><strong>Key Interactions</strong></p><p>Internal: Field Operators, Shift Team Leader, Panel Operators, Maintenance Coordinator, Process Trainer, Technical Services Department, Sr. / Engineer Operations.</p><p>External: Ministries, Civil Defense, ROP and Neighboring Companies</p><p><strong>Notable Working Conditions.</strong> Field Operations and office environment, Moderate to intensive computer screen use.</p><p>2+ years of relevant experience</p><p>Knowledge of maintenance processes for Gas Network operations</p><p>Knowledge of Electrical control loops.</p><p>Familiar with Systems, Applications and Products in data processing (SAP).</p><p>Expertise in High Tension voltage, Substation, Switch gear, MCC and Power network</p><p>Experience on pre-commissioning and commissioning of Power Sub Station</p><p>Good knowledge of modern maintenance technologies &amp; maintenance Planning and execution of Electrical Equipment s, Substation, EDGs, VFD Drives, Power electronics, 33KV OHL, UPS,</p><p>Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in engineering field materials specifications and international standards.</p><p>Good experience in handling Maintenance Contracts and shutdown related jobs.</p><p>Knowledge of:</p><p>Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)</p><p>Expertise in SAP- PM, CM&amp;Z1</p><p>Process Equipment Life-Cycle Management</p><p>Good knowledge in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and HSE plans.</p><p>Familiar with techniques for ensuring data integrity with various integration of information/ reports</p><p>Knowledgeable in HSE plans related to maintenance activities.</p><p>Understanding of Process (P&amp;IDs / PFDs) &amp;
