Job Summary:



The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of the company. This role involves coordinating the efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to optimize logistics processes and maintain a high level of service.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate and monitor logistics operations: Manage the shipment and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate transportation.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of products while minimizing excess stock.
  • Supplier and Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for suppliers and customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth logistics operations.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including customs and import/export laws.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and address logistical problems, such as delays or shortages, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to coordinate logistics activities.

Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
