RUYA B1 Cybersecurity Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Doha/India/Vietnam/Malaysia/Oman/China/Korea/ Singapore
Doha Logistics allowance: SINGLE status
Mobilisation date: 01-DEC-2023
Demobilisation date: 30-NOV-2025
Qualification And Experience Required
- Qualification: Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic /Instrument and control engineering or similar.
- Experience: 10-15 years' experience as ICSS and Packages cybersecurity engineer in Offshore Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience in conducting cybersecurity risk assessment, identify acceptable levels of risk, analyze proposed controls and mitigations for identified risks and follow the implementation of risk treatment plans.
- Detailed knowledge of key models, industry standards, frameworks and best practices including ISA99/IEC 62443, ISA/IEC 61511, NIST and Qatar ICS security.
- Holding of active Industry certifications in ICS Security is plus such as ISA99/IEC 62443, GICSP or CISSP.
- Holding or welling to acquire offshore certification i.e. OPITO T-BOSEIT and OPITO H2S certification, QE pass and medical fitness.
- Strong engineering knowledge of project design and execution, package interfaces
- Computer literate, especially in cybersecurity design related software.
- Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Familiar with Total general specifications is a plus, and with relevant international codes and standards.
- Language: fluent English.
- Ability to travel and work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
Accountabilities
- Ensure Engineering Dossier are delivered with a robust cybersecurity engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of the company's standard, project basis of design, and SOR.
- Ensure assigned project tasks are well managed in accordance with the project execution plan and contractual requirements that includes but not limited to:
- Implementation of the company's cybersecurity requirements and standards
- Thorough, efficient, and timely review of the relevant project discipline documents, realization of potential derogations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome.
- Focal point for cybersecurity discipline and interface/coordinate cybersecurity subjects and required activities with the company's MP Engineering Team, the company's DBS Cybersecurity team, and RUYA B1 Packages.
- Support project audits, studies, tests, and meetings related to the Cybersecurity discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity.
Activities
- Ensure Engineering Dossier are delivered with a robust cybersecurity engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of the company's standard, project basis of design, and SOR.
- Ensure and coordinate the proper realization of the cybersecurity design in compliance with the company's Standard, project specifications and procedures, time schedule, required level of quality and safety.
- Monitor, audit and guide all Cybersecurity related activities performed by ICSS OEM/Contractor/Integrator to deliver a reliable and maintainable plant meeting the required availability.
- Act as the Cybersecurity representative on cybersecurity audits done for ICSS OEM/Contractor/Integrator and all the technical matters related to Cybersecurity for Telecom, Electrical, MMS and ICSS Systems for the Project
- Identify cybersecurity engineering technical decisions to be made. Consult the company's DBS cybersecurity team then define and manage clear way forward for these decisions to be made and report to Package Engineering Coordinator.
- Monitor the design and provision of equipment supplied as part of vendor packages to ensure that it is in accordance with Project requirements and cybersecurity rules.
- Participate in equipment FAT, IFAT, SAT, DVT and other inspections at site/vendor premises as required.
- Follow-up with relevant EPC Contractors/OEMs to ensure closure of identified cybersecurity punches and keep track of their status.
- Ensure close coordination with other disciplines on all engineering, operational matters, and the company's DBS corporate.
- Ensure that relevant feedback/lesson learned from previous similar projects are considered in the design performance.
- Assist in planning and preparation of cybersecurity discipline kick-off meeting with EPC Contractor
- Provide technical advice and input to other disciplines including Instrumentation, ICSS, Electrical, Telecom, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Procurement and Commercial.
- Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project cybersecurity discipline documents, realization of potential derogations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome.
- Ensure project documents related to the cybersecurity discipline are reviewed and commented in a timely manner and in accordance with the company's standards, project specification and contractual requirements.
- Identify any optimization / improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of detailed design, promote, and encourage submissions of value engineering proposals.
- Promote fit for purpose design to reduce and to optimize planning and costs,
- Coordinate and issue project response to contractors and vendors requests on engineering design clarifications and TQR.
- Identify the protentional deviations/derogations to the company's to and assist in preparation of deviation package.
- Consult with the company's DBS cybersecurity team and other related department to process derogation requests and interface with relevant TRP to secure needed approvals.
- Review of final project documentation including final dossiers and as-built drawings.
- Support project studies and meetings related to the cybersecurity discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity.
- Assist to define, follow up and evaluate the cybersecurity discipline studies and audit to be carried out by Contractors, ensure the studies completed as per approved project gate and maturity.
- Assist in preparation and attend to project studies including Project review and audits, HAZOP, Cyber PHA, SIL, HAZID
- Participate in weekly engineering meetings with Contractors, and in specific ad hoc meetings as required by management.
- Assist in preparation of engineering progress reports detailing cybersecurity discipline progress across schedule. risks and technical issues to ensure accurate and timely information available to Package Management Team
- Focal point for all cybersecurity discipline and interface/coordinate cybersecurity subjects with the company's MP Engineering Team, the company's DBS Cybersecurity Team and assigned RUYA Package.
- Ensure a regular interface and coordination with other disciplines including ICSS, Electrical, Telecom, instrument as well as the company's DBS cybersecurity team to secure proper execution of project safety and control systems.
- Act as single point of contact for all cybersecurity subjects for RUYA B1 Project, ensure consistent design in all packages.
- Identify potential engineering scope change related to cybersecurity discipline, carry out initial technical assessment in order to provide accurate information to Package Engineering Coordinator.
