Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team.


This role will be responsible for overseeing the overall financial performance of the company, with a strong focus on retail and restaurant operations. The Finance Manager will manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting through POS systems, and deliver actionable financial insights to support business growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across multiple outlets.


Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  2. Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
  3. Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to align financial goals with operational objectives
  4. Implement and maintain POS systems that integrate seamlessly with accounting software, optimizing transaction processing and enhancing financial reporting accuracy
  5. Conduct regular financial forecasting and variance analysis to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
  6. Lead the financial audit process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements
  7. Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices across the company
  8. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity across the business
  9. Train and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance on financial processes and supporting their professional development
  10. Collaborate with IT to improve financial systems and tools, ensuring technology is effectively leveraged to support financial operations
  11. Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement initiatives that improve overall financial performance
  12. Provide financial guidance to outlet managers, strengthening financial controls and promoting accountability across departments

Skills

  • Proven experience using ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems integrated with accounting/ERP systems in retail or F&B operations
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Solid understanding of inventory and cost accounting in F&B/retail
  • Knowledge of VAT and local regulatory requirements (GCC experience preferred)
