Job description
We are looking for a highly experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the overall financial performance of the company, with a strong focus on retail and restaurant operations. The Finance Manager will manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting through POS systems, and deliver actionable financial insights to support business growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across multiple outlets.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to align financial goals with operational objectives
- Implement and maintain POS systems that integrate seamlessly with accounting software, optimizing transaction processing and enhancing financial reporting accuracy
- Conduct regular financial forecasting and variance analysis to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
- Lead the financial audit process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices across the company
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity across the business
- Train and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance on financial processes and supporting their professional development
- Collaborate with IT to improve financial systems and tools, ensuring technology is effectively leveraged to support financial operations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement initiatives that improve overall financial performance
- Provide financial guidance to outlet managers, strengthening financial controls and promoting accountability across departments
Skills
- Proven experience using ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar
- Hands-on experience with POS systems integrated with accounting/ERP systems in retail or F&B operations
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Solid understanding of inventory and cost accounting in F&B/retail
- Knowledge of VAT and local regulatory requirements (GCC experience preferred)
