<p><b>About the Role:</b></p><p> Fintler is introducing the Investment Associate role as part of its growing financial advisory oƯerings for startups and SMEs. This role is designed for professionals with a strong Finance academic background and a clear trajectory toward CFA certification. The Investment Associate will internally report to a Team Lead and externally will work closely with founders, decision-makers, and investors to deliver high-quality financial models, pitch materials, capital budgeting analysis, and fundraising support. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Fundraising & Investor Readiness</b></p><ul><li>Support clients through the fundraising process, including pitch deck development, financial summary preparation, and term sheet review. </li><li>Create investment packs and assist with data rooms for investor or lender due diligence. </li><li>Engage with capital providers including banks, VCs, and accelerators to support client fundraising goals. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Financial Modeling & Valuation </b></p><ul><li>Build and manage 3-statement financial models with full integration, sensitivity analysis, and valuation metrics (DCF, IRR, NPV). </li><li>Develop capital structure projections and cap table models for early-stage companies. </li><li>Ensure financials are aligned with market benchmarks and investor expectations. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Planning, Budgeting & Capital Allocation </b></p><ul><li>Assist clients in developing detailed budgets, multi-year business plans, and capital investment proposals. </li><li>Conduct capital budgeting analyses to assess feasibility and return on investment for new projects or expansions. </li><li>Provide financial advisory around cost of capital, working capital, and debt structuring. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Investment Due Diligence & Strategic Finance</b></p><ul><li>Conduct pre-investment analysis for client opportunities and investment cases. </li><li>Support internal and external financial due diligence processes. </li><li>Collaborate on investment memos and strategic assessments for decision-making. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Client Support & Internal Tools </b></p><ul><li>Serve as a key finance advisor to startups and SMEs within Fintler’s investment support stream. </li><li>Coordinate with accounting and digital finance teams to ensure accuracy in financial inputs. </li><li>Contribute to Fintler’s library of templates, dashboards, and fundraising tools. </li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>
<div data-jb-field="skills"><p><b>Qualifications </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance (mandatory; other disciplines not accepted). </li><li>CFA Level 1 cleared at minimum. </li><li>Minimum 1-2 years of experience in financial modeling, investment advisory, FP&A, or similar roles. </li><li>Strong proficiency in Excel (including modeling, charts, sensitivity tables) and PowerPoint. </li><li>Familiarity with investment terms, capital raising processes, and early-stage funding structures. </li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Understanding of the GCC financial and SME/startup ecosystem is a plus. </li></ul><p><br></p></div>
