<p><h4>Service purpose<\/h4>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Superintendent to join our dynamic team for the MARSA LNG Bunkering Project, a key initiative within TotalEnergies' energy transition strategy. In this key role, you will oversee the safety and coordination of all marine operations in collaboration with Sohar Port Authority at the terminal and relevant Port Authorities in case of bunkering operations elsewhere. Your responsibilities will encompass LNG bunkering operations, LNG carriers loading, inspection and follow-up of terminal marine facilities, and providing expert advice on technical aspects related to terminal activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the logistics entities and warehouse activities.<\/p>\n<p>The job holder is a part of the MARSA LNG Plant team and will report functionally to the MARSA LNG Plant Manager.<\/p>\n<p>The Marine Superintendent will provide technical leadership for marine and logistics operations, ensuring that all objectives are achieved safely, efficiently and in compliance with all applicable rules. <p>The Traffic Management Supervisor supervises work activities of Traffic Management personnel engaged in the movement of GPMS-Prepositioned cargo via land, air and sea. Responsible for training, establishing and maintaining effective outbound and receiving planning functions. Monitors cargo operations using Logistics Tool Suite (LTS), Global Freight Management (GFM), Cargo Movement Operating System (CMOS), Integrated Logistics Supply (ILS-S), Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES), Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), Integrated Booking System (IBS), Joint Container Management system (JCM), Wood Packaging Materials (WPM) Management Toolset, Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART) and web-based tracking systems such as integrated Data Environment/Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART) and web-based tracking systems such as Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC), Radio Frequency Identification (RFIDITV) Tracking Portal, Global Decision Support Systems (GDSS-2) and Single Mobility System (SMS) to ensure In-transit Visibility (ITV) within the Defense Transportation System (DTS). <p>JOB PURPOSE: To perform various tasks pertaining to effective planning of vessel discharge &amp; load operations, yard layouts &amp; operations for Imports, MTs, Exports and Transshipment with due segregation as per department policies and procedures. The planning considers vessel stability, cargo safety &amp; security, an efficient yard and vessel operation. Close real-time monitoring of vessel, berth, yard and gate operations to ensure that vessel, cargo / containers have confirmed positions at any point of time to reduce shifting and unproductive moves either while loading or unloading. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: In liaison with JPO Team Lead, provides the vessel, yard, gate and berth planning &amp; administration: For all types of cargo operations Dry Bulk, Containers, Multi-purpose, RORO, Liquid Bulk. Ensure each shipment is handled in the correct way, this will include freight, weight measurement determination and calculation, requesting adequate equipment &amp; manpower are in the right place at the right time. Responsible for planning the activities based on discharge / load documentation such as Stowage Plans, Bills of Lading, Cargo / Vessel Manifests, Load List, Booking, Release Requests, IMDG declarations, Special Requests for services and others. Digitize these documents by uploading in JMT. Prepare generate and communicate vessel load/discharge plans and vessel work plans in JMT as applicable to the relevant department / Vessel Agents. Real-time monitoring of vessel / yard / gate / berth cargo operations to improve terminal productivity. Cargo Accounting - Reconciliation of import, export and storage cargoes. Manage all customer electronic or manual documentation Booking, Pre-Note, Release Requests Import / Export, Cargo Manifests in preformatted form. Responsible to plan the effective utilization of Berth, Yard, Gate and other port facilities. Based on inputs from the Vessel Agent for the voyages, keep the JMT / Planning Board always updated with all relevant data for each voyage / cargo. Responsible to organize &amp; minute- Pre-Ops / Toolbox meetings. Manage Draft Survey and reporting proactively. Reports problems and issues especially the issues of complexity or impact on the operations. Maintain yard inventory to track the movement of cargo and Gate Opening / Closing for export cargo as per rules and yard setups to maximize productivity, capacity and efficiency. Responsible for planning the gate movements and schedule truck appointments. Report on a regular basis on the status of berth, yard density, equipment utilization and strategy/allocation changes. Prepare daily yard work plans related to discharges, receiving exports, housekeeping etc. Responsible for data quality of all vessel / cargo related information especially review the data quality of tally sheets from various points and the cargo transactions in JMT. Contribute to continuous process improvement of workflows of the department. Responsible for quality checks and controls of all invoices before processing by Commercial team. HSE Responsibilities: Ensure that all HSE instructions are fully understood and complied with.
