Assist in reviewing the final design of the project and ensure all project details are meeting client s needs and complied with OMRAN standards. Strategic Contribution Assist in achieving OMRAN s efficiency and effectiveness through the development of design processes & policies. Perform routine activities required of the Design professionals. Perform as an effective member in supporting the unit in ensuring that the tasks in accordance with the objectives are completed accurately on daily basis. Seek support and guidance from the Senior Architect/ Director of Design. Foster a culture of team spirit, co-operation, and continuous self-development within the unit. Provide regular reports on site visits and project design progress throughout the phases.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Education & Experience Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Urban Design, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university. 2 4 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, design development, or project coordination, including exposure to reviewing consultant drawings, technical documentation, specifications, and site implementation. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and one or more other computer-aided architectural design programs, such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or Rhinoceros. <h4>Experience</h4>
<p>Senior designer shall have a minimum of 15 years related experience plus proven capability in an engineering design firm. Minimum of 10 years of experience in design of oil & gas facilities with extensive experience in front end and detailed design, plus proven experience in AutoCAD & E3D.</p>
<h4>Particulars</h4>
<p>Good spoken and written English and PC literate. Senior designer shall have good skills in management of a pool of designers/drafts persons and also task planning to meet schedules. Hence must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Senior designer shall have abilities to effectively check the drawings prepared by designers in the same discipline. 3D CAD skills and with experience in E3D.</p>
<h4>Principal accountabilities</h4>

<li>Understand the requirements of the design quality system and meticulously ensure that these requirements are met and undertake work in accordance with relevant codes, standards and procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in site visits to gather existing data.</li>
<li>Produce presentable and accurate drawings, including a consistency check. Modification of existing drawings.</li>
<li>Be aware of, and check, the interface between his own discipline and other disciplines at all stages of the design.</li>

<li>Carry out lighting design calculation in Dialux.</li>
<li>Preparation of MTO.</li>
<li>Decisions are to be made based on acceptable quality for the custodian.</li>
<li>Actively train and encourage the development of Omani personnel to fulfil draftsperson and designer roles in the engineering team.</li>
<li>Implement company, and where applicable, client/project policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation.</li>
<li>Undertake surveys necessary to develop area of work assigned.</li>

<p>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES</p><p>1. Carry out interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data from the historical seismic databank and from new data received from seismic surveys. Identifies subsurface structure/trapping mechanism and reservoir distribution utilizing geophysical software packages such as Petrel, Geo-Graphix, DSD etc.</p><p>2. Generating plausible geophysical and geological concepts for leads and prospects in all possible plays, with appropriate risks, volume and commercial analysis and in support of a growing inventory of exploration portfolio.</p><p>3. Establish and maintain up-to-date Exploration Prospect Portfolio for all prospects for all levels, shallow to deep plays.</p><p>4. Identify new oil and gas prospects based on comprehensive technical work mainly Geophysical and Geological, from a regional prospective to block and field/prospect level.</p><p>5. Perform detail evaluation of identified prospect to progress to well proposal, presenting to the Management and shareholders to seek approval to drill Exploration wells in which clear conclusions and recommendations are required to the management to make decisions.</p><p>7. Work closely with Exploration geologist and reservoir engineer on analysis work of new found traps to ascertain the most likely locations of reservoir tops and subsequent locations of potential wells.</p><p>8. Identify optimal drilling locations using knowledge of 3D seismic interpretation and knowledge of regional and prospect specific petroleum systems.</p><p>9. Seamless coordination of all exploration-related operations between relevant internal and external parties.</p><p>10. Involvement on Tender documentation preparation and evaluation of bids for any study pertaining seismic; such as seismic data acquisition, survey plan, Processing, Reservoir Characterization, VSP, prospect identification etc.</p><p>11. Follow up and Supervise specialist or outsourced studies of seismic evaluation.</p><p>12. Stays up to date with current developments in seismic and geophysical mapping techniques and software. The role will also involve participating in the assessment of new technology, methodologies and workflows</p><p>13. Provide mentorship, guidance and control as required to junior Daleel geoscience staff with respect to geophysical methods and evaluation procedures.</p><p>14.
