Roles & Responsibilities

Manage the school's financial affairs with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring financial sustainability, transparency, and operational support for the implementation of the impact-maximization plan, while maintaining a commitment to financial streamlining.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide full oversight of the finance and accounting department.
  • Directly supervise the Payroll Officer, Receivables Officer, Financial Reporting Officer, and Financial Logistics Officer.
  • Prepare the annual budget and monitor its implementation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the CEO and the Board of Directors.
  • Manage collections from branches and cash liquidity.
  • Oversee rent payments, procurement, and school catering/nutrition.
  • Support the implementation of financial line items within the impact-maximization plan, particularly those related to Quran and Al-Bayan instruction, agriculture, and trade.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards.
  • Analyze financial performance and propose improvements for cost efficiency and profitability.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy of financial reports (100%).
  • Collection rate of receivables ( 98%).
  • Adherence to the approved budget.
  • Achievement of financial streamlining in non-essential expense items.
  • Periodic preparation of financial dashboards.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in financial management (experience in the education sector preferred).
  • Strong financial analysis and advanced reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • High integrity and meticulous attention to detail.

Impact Maximization Requirements

  • Support the financial implementation of the impact-maximization plan at the lowest possible cost, with a focus on sustainability and extended impact, and contribute to generating supplementary revenue (such as purchasing agricultural produce from students and staff).
