Roles & Responsibilities
Lifting Plan Management: Develop, Design, review, and approve lifting and rigging plans as the designated Appointed Person.
Equipment Verification: Perform rigorous technical verifications & Inspections of lifting gear and equipment to ensure it is safe for operations before use.
Operational Oversight: Supervise site-lifting activities, ensuring full compliance with client project safety standards and international regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with on-call Inspectors to ensure all equipment certificates are valid, up-to-date, and correctly issued by the authorized third party.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Lifting/Rigging Engineer or a certified Appointed Person (LEEA, or equivalent).
Technical knowledge of lifting regulations, rigging hardware, and crane capacities.
Strong capability in risk assessment and safety management for minimal-to-medium scope project environments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively manage contractor-supplied gear and internal safety protocols.
