Roles & Responsibilities
Role Objective :
To Provide
- The organization with financial strategic planning and ensure regulatory compliance.
- key insights into business performance to support decision-making and drive profitability.
- Management with various MIS reports including investment and new business line expansions.
- Develop, review, and
implement systems, polices and processes for the Finance function which will
improve financial monitoring, accountability and growth across AIS branches.
Duties and Responsibilities - Coordinate, maintain and improve Strategic Funding Plan and update related models.
- Monthly Profitability Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly reports comparing actual financial results to the budget and prior year s performance. Highlight key variances, trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, working with various departments to develop annual budgets. Provide ongoing forecasting updates to ensure financial objectives are being met and adjust as needed.
- Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
- Feasibility Studies for New Projects: Conduct thorough financial analysis and feasibility studies for new business ventures, investments, and projects. Provide financial recommendations and evaluate the impact on overall company performance.
- Financial Decision Impact Analysis: Analyze the financial impact of business decisions and strategic initiatives. Offer guidance to senior management by assessing the profitability and financial viability of proposed changes or investments.
- Cost Control and Efficiency Improvements: Monitor and analyze cost structures to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved operational efficiency.
- Management of Financial Reporting Systems: Maintain and improve financial reporting systems to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in reporting and data analysis.
- Support to Senior Management: Assist in providing financial insights and data to support management in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform other ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support business operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Oversees the corporate cash flow to ensure the group is adequately funded to meet its short, medium and long-term cash requirements and investment strategies.
- Supervise an end-to-end audit process of current systems while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: (Minimum)
University Degree in Accounting & Finance
Chartered Accountant Certification
Experience: (Years and nature of experience)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Special Skills & Knowledge
IFRS standards.
Strong leadership quality
High interpersonal & Communication Skills
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Accounting softwares.
Good problem-solving skill and analytical skills
