The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel to ensure all facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role requires expertise in multiple technical disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance, supporting the hotel’s commitment to high-quality guest experience and operational excellence.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:


  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and public areas
  • Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to guests
  • Monitor building systems including lighting, air conditioning, water supply, and safety systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and potential risks
  • Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment
  • Follow the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure equipment longevity
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and completed work orders
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations
  • Adhere to hotel policies and engineering standards
  • Report hazards and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Work closely with other departments to address maintenance needs
  • Support engineering projects and renovations when required
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:


  • Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related technical field
  • 2–4 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in hospitality or facilities management
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance systems and reporting
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
