Job Title: Resource Manager
Location: Oman
Role Overview:

A Resource Manager is responsible for planning, allocating, and optimizing human and material resources to ensure efficient project execution and operational performance. The role focuses on workforce planning, resource utilization, coordination across departments, and ensuring that the right resources are available at the right time to meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and allocate resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) based on project and operational requirements
  • Monitor resource utilization to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Coordinate with project managers, department heads, and HR for resource planning and deployment
  • Analyze workload, capacity, and forecasting to identify resource gaps or excess
  • Develop and maintain resource schedules and allocation plans
  • Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of resources across projects
  • Track resource performance and productivity, and suggest improvements
  • Manage workforce planning, including shift scheduling and manpower optimization
  • Identify potential resource shortages or conflicts and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, availability, and utilization
  • Support recruitment planning and onboarding requirements in coordination with HR
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and operational standards
  • Optimize resource costs while maintaining quality and efficiency
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Human Resource Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or operations (preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors)
  • Experience working in project-based environments is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Oman labor regulations is an added advantage
Skills Required:
  • Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and resource planning tools/software
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
