As part of the HSE Team, being responsible to ensure that HSE guidelines and standards are implemented and adhered to at all Operations site and the entire Companypremises.
Key Deliverables:
- Implement all required standards with regards to Health,Safety and Environment within Companypremises.
- Enforce safe working practices and ensure lost time incidentsare kept to aminimum.
- Ensure timely maintenance of equipment’s such as fire-fighting equipment’s, safety harnesses, first aid boxes, overheadcranes, spill kits,etc.
- Communicate all HSE related processes and procedures toall personnel within theCompany.
- Assist in training and safety workshops for all personnel inthe Company.
- Do a daily walk-around through the Company premisesand educate personnel, especially shop floor, regarding safety guidelines, good housekeeping and proper maintenance of workshop.
- Assist in any necessary accident/incident investigationand reporting.
- You will be responsible to ensure that all safety & environmental issues are managedfulfilling the requirements of all the regulations applicable by international standards and National laws asappropriate.
- Conduct safety induction for visitors, new staff, interns,etc.
- Liaise with company personnel during EmergencyResponse situation and safetydrills.
- You will be responsible to carry out Emergency Response testing and fix anyshortfalls.
Job Profile:
Qualifications:
- Graduate in anyfield.
- Certification in safety management (NEBOSH Certificateor equivalent)preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong communicationskills.
- Good co-ordinationskills.
- Ability to implement HSE Policies and associated ManagementSystems.
- Effective interpersonalskills.
- Teamwork and proactiveapproach.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in related industries withinMiddle East.
Business Understanding:
- Understanding of the country HSEguidelines.
- Aware of the industrial standards andbodies.
- Knowledgeable about Fire & other emergencyresponse relatedaspects.
