To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for a Software Engineer - Frontend (3 month Internship), Omani Nationals

Responsibilities:

• Like a challenge of collaboration with globally distributed teams
• Would like to acquire experience working on agile software development projects
• Are motivated to translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Know importance of improving performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Can identify the causes and solve reported bugs with minimal assistance
• Writing technical documentation
  
  

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of programming language (e.g. Java, Python, TypeScript or C#)
• Experience with core frameworks and/or libraries (e.g. Spring, .Net, Angular, React)
• Understands basic relational database development, SQL, and schema design (e.q. PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL)
• Comfortable using version control systems, preferably Git
• Understands basic data structures (List, Map, Set) and algorithms (Sorting, Searching, Walking graphs)
• Proficient unit-testing including mock testing
• Have good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential
  
  

Successful candidates can undergo training through the Liferay Online Academy. However, to effectively learn Liferay, a strong foundation in the following technologies and languages is essential:

For backend development: Java/Advanced Java, OSGI Microservices, Headless API, REST.

For frontend: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AUI, ReactJS.
