Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio of card products, focusing on activation, increasing spend domestically and internationally, and expanding offerings for both conventional and Islamic financial services.
- Enhance the existing product suite and transition key processes to digital platforms, such as customer onboarding and card activation.
- Lead initiatives to activate and increase usage of card products, driving customer engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to boost card usage and transaction volumes.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional campaigns aimed at increasing card utilization.
- Analyze customer spending patterns to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators to assess the success of migration and activation initiatives.
- Synchronize system updates with internal teams such as IT, legal, and marketing.
- Foster existing partnerships and create new alliances to drive portfolio growth.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of proven experience in card products business development in conventional and/or Islamic banking.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage end-to-end card product launches or revamp projects.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and product launches within Islamic banking and payments.
- Experience in interacting with senior stakeholders and providing periodic updates.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
