As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping leadership team in delivering exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and service across guest rooms and public areas. You will supervise daily operations, lead and motivate colleagues, and ensure all areas meet IHG Brand Standards, health & safety requirements, and guest expectations.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are consistently met
- Ensure adherence to IHG Brand Standards, Crowne Plaza service culture, and Heartbeat Guest Satisfaction metrics
- Coordinate with Engineering and Front Office to resolve maintenance issues and guest requests promptly
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping colleagues to achieve high performance and engagement
- Allocate work assignments efficiently based on occupancy and business needs
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support colleague development and onboarding
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and grooming standards
- Respond to guest requests and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience
- Support VIP, long-stay, and special requests with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards
- Promote safe working practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and local regulations at all times
- Assist in monitoring linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies usage
- Report damages, lost and found items, and discrepancies accurately
- Support departmental reporting and daily briefings
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
- Previous experience in an international hotel brand is an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Guest-focused and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (Opera or similar PMS knowledge is an advantage)
