We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Risk & Compliance team. The role requires strong partnership with the businesses to drive and accelerate the execution of compliance programmes that directly impact business performance.

In particular, the role will involve:
•    Manage the financial crime, regulatory compliance and fraud risks for HBME Oman
•    To support compliance advisory and maintain an effective control framework 
•    To provide advisory services to wholesale business and functions to ensure clear understanding of compliance
•    To ensure proactive communication with wholesale business and functions and to develop appropriate policy and framework to manage the changes across the group
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or relevant specialization.
•    5+ years working in Risk & Compliance departments in banks and financial institutions reviewing documents and transactions.
•    Proficiency in English is must and Arabic is advantage.
•    Should not have been sentenced by a court in crimes related to honor or honesty, or was convicted of offences and sentenced to imprisonment
