The Role:
As the Sourcing Manager, you will play a role in managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials and services at optimal costs. This role requires an adept professional with experience in sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimisation, particularly within the automotive ancillary or similar industries.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure performance excellence.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and potential risks in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimise procurement operations to achieve cost savings, reduce lead times, and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in all sourcing activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the Middle East market.
- Proven expertise in sourcing and procurement, with a strong track record in supplier negotiations and cost management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting supplier partnerships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
