The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Technology Project Manager to join our team at PhazeRo. As a Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Software Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your role will involve managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, as well as identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. You will be the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and maintaining strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
This is a remote-friendly position with occasional travel to client sites or PhazeRo's headquarters if required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the technology or software development industry
- Good understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering software development projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Experience in resource allocation, risk management, and project planning
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changes in project scope and requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficient in project management tools and software
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile, etc.) is preferred but not required
- Experience working in a client-facing role, with the ability to manage client relationships and expectations
- Prior experience in the Data Science or Data Engineering domain is a plus
