Manager, Administration & Security (Omanisation)

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the job is to manages the services provided to the Bank by external organizations or by the Bank to its staff in order to enhance the Bank’s operating efficiency and effectiveness. This includes Insurance, Documents Managements Center, Occupational Health, Security, Hospitality Services, Mail and Government Relations including licensing.


Key Accountabilities:

  • To prevent occupational injury through the implementation of hazard identification and risk management principles and by engaging all relevant parties and to reduce accidents and incidents, this includes our staff, visitors, contractors, volunteers and members of the public affected by our activities.
  • To ensure bank compliance with relevant local and international legislative requirements of Health and safety and fire alarm and firefighting systems such as local civil defense and Royal Oman Police ROP and other related Health Authority …etc.
  • To ensure the implementation of ISO 45001: 2018 Standard for Occupational Health and Safety which sets out the requirements for organizations who wish to create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. And prepare for a rigorous assessment programme to the Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) and a further review against the actual publication of ISO 45001
  • To bring new techniques for improving health, safety and welfare for the bank and for internal and external employees
  • To provide site safety leadership, ensure facility compliance with corporate safety standards, implement safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure facility safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
  • Consistently deliver innovative solutions in alignment with business objectives to ensure the achievement of maximized safety and promote a safe work environment culture. Involved in the continual evaluation and assessment of risks to identify variances and develop alternative courses of action that resolve issues and facilitate uninterrupted work processes as per international and local safety standards.
  • Adaptable to changing technologies at workplace with good problem-solving skills, clear organizational insights and strengthening engagement with team members. Constantly work towards personal and professional all-round development by keeping abreast with latest standards of Workplace Health & Safety. Well-acquainted with Oman laws and regulations such as those for Police, CID, Civil Defence, Health & Safety, issuing and renewal of Commercial Licenses.


Qualification & Experience:

  • 5-7 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Administration function.
  • Good Oral & written Arabic and English
