Position Overview:

The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth in Oman. This role involves overseeing all sales activities within the country, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The Country Sales Manager will work closely with regional and global teams to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Oman that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
  • Identify key market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas within the country to drive sales and increase market share.
  • Set and manage sales targets, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team within the country, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Implement effective sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, pipeline, and market share, to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address sales challenges and achieve performance targets.
  • Ensure effective management of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment between sales activities and company objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the product development team to inform product enhancements and new offerings.
  • Collaborate with finance and supply chain teams to manage sales resources and inventory effectively.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management, including the Regional VP of Sales or CSO.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and support sales initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and stay ahead of industry developments.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably as a Country Manager, Sales Manager, or in a similar position with responsibility for national sales management.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets, managing sales teams, and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

Willingness to travel within the country and occasionally to other locations as needed.
