What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day operations of marine services and provide support to the fleet, crew, and onshore team.
- Assume full responsibility for operations, including safety compliance, operational efficiency, and client
satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence and customer-focused solu tions.
- Possess the necessary expertise to take command of vessels as required, demonstrating proficiency in
ASD tug operations.
- Oversee marine operations, including vessel maintenance, technical administration, and compliance
with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor senior officers to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper crew administration and training to meet operational and safety standards.
- Engage with clients to address operational concerns, maintain strong relationships, and deliver high quality service.
- Act as the company's representative to port authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with
All Relevant Regulations And Documentation. What You Bring
- Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (CoC) STCW II/2.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant business or marine management.
- Previous experience as a Marine Officer, preferably as a Master, with expertise in harbour towage operations and ASD marine propulsion units.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing marine services operations.
- Detailed knowledge of classification, flag state, and port authority requirements.
- Strong financial management knowledge and analytical skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and planning skills.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate across various levels.
- High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
