Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels by conducting regular counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Receiving and Dispatching: Overseeing the receiving process for incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips or purchase orders, and ensuring accurate documentation. Additionally, preparing outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items for delivery.
Quality Control: Inspecting incoming and outgoing products for damages, defects, or discrepancies and taking appropriate action, such as returning defective items to vendors or initiating corrective measures.
Organizing and Storing: Arranging items in the warehouse according to predetermined storage methods, utilizing appropriate equipment and tools such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Ensuring efficient space utilization and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. This includes proper handling of hazardous materials, maintaining equipment, and promoting a culture of safety among warehouse staff.
Documentation and Reporting: Generating reports related to inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics using the WMS or other software systems. Maintaining accurate records of transactions and activities.
Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required3-5 years of experience in warehouse (same industry experience is added advantage)
Language: Fluent in English (conversational proficiency in Arabic is preferred)
