Job Title: Project Manager (Oil & Energy Sector)



Job Summary:

BGD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee various projects within the oil and energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial and pricing tendering background, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects. You will be responsible for leading the project team, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle. This role requires deep sector knowledge and a strategic approach to deliver value to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


• Lead and manage all phases of projects within the oil and energy sector, from inception to completion.

• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.

• Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, including pricing strategy, tender preparation, and contract negotiation.

• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure accurate cost estimations and project pricing.

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry regulations, and company standards.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to manage project expectations and requirements.

• Manage project teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring the delivery of key project milestones.

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, financial performance, and key risks.

• Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, and ensure all changes are documented.


Key Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in project management within the oil, gas, and energy sector.

• Strong experience in commercial tendering, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.


Work Location: Based in Duqn, with occasional travel to project sites.
