Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Wireless Telecom Deployment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of in-building wireless systems for cellular technology. You will work closely with customers to ensure that their wireless networks are installed and maintained to the highest standards.


Essential Function:

Plan and execute the deployment of in-building wireless systems, including Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), small cells, and other related technologies.

Conduct site surveys to assess coverage needs and determine optimal equipment placement.

Install and configure wireless equipment, antennas, and related hardware.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to wireless network performance, coverage, and interference.

Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on deployed systems to ensure optimal performance.

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the deployment process.

Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical customers.

Conduct training sessions for customers on the use and maintenance of deployed systems.

Maintain accurate records of deployment activities, including site surveys, installation details, and troubleshooting efforts.

Prepare detailed reports on project status, system performance, and any issues encountered.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.

Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and sales representatives, to ensure successful project delivery.

Coordinate with external partners and vendors as needed to source equipment and resolve technical challenges.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless telecom deployment, particularly with in-building systems such as DAS and small cells.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in diagnosing and resolving wireless network issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Knowledge of cellular technologies (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G) and RF principles.
  • Familiarity with industry tools and software for network planning, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations across Oman as required.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
