Position: Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure Business

Location: Muscat, Oman

Job Overview:

Our client is one of the largest technology and services company based in Oman that focuses on

providing IT solutions, technology integration, and consulting services across various industries.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead its IT Infrastructure Business. This individual will be responsible for driving new business development (BD) and overseeing the P&L management for the business unit. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in expanding organization’s presence in the IT infrastructure space, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring profitability across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead new business development initiatives for the IT Infrastructure Business, targeting key sectors such as banking, government, Oil & Gas, energy, and enterprise, etc…
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to capture new opportunities in IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, data centers, and networking solutions.
• Manage the overall P&L for the IT Infrastructure Division, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded while maintaining cost controls and operational efficiency.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality execution of IT infrastructure solutions for clients.
• Optimize team performance through leadership, coaching, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and client requirements in all infrastructure projects.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team including project managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their infrastructure needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to enhance solution offerings and expand the division’s capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven track record in business development and implementation of large IT Infra projects.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, and profitability.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure solutions such as cloud computing, data centers, cybersecurity, networking, and managed services.
