Your Day to Day
At InterContinental Muscat, the Musandam Restaurant offers a sophisticated and inviting space where guests can relax, connect, and refined all-day dining. We’re now seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to support or Musandam restaurant team in delivering warm, seamless, and elevated service within this elegant social hub.
What we need from you
- Supervise the restaurant during service, ensuring a premium guest experience aligned with InterContinental’s luxury standards.
- Support and guide team members during shifts, making sure they follow service and grooming standards.
- Coordinate daily operational tasks, including set-up & pack down, ensure seamless service to a 5-star standard, timely table turn around, and staff delegation.
- Manage roster adjustments and shift coverage in real-time to support efficient service delivery.
- Look after stock and supplies – place orders, help with stock counts, and fix any stock issues.
- Interact professionally with guests, offering warm, attentive service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Deliver training and mentorship to new and current team members, focusing on refined service techniques and product knowledge.
- Follow all safety and health rules, and make sure the team works safely too.
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to support seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
What We Need from You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior Food & Beverage or supervisory role, ideally within a premium dining environment.
- A confident leader with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to maintain high service standards in a dynamic, guest-facing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong guest-first mindset.
- Knowledge of stock and inventory control systems is beneficial.
- Sound understanding of health & safety compliance.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a commitment to reliability.
- Full Australian working rights are essential.
