Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to be based in Oman. Key responsibilities: Business Development: • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oman market. • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and distributors. • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms with customers. • Expand the company’s presence in modern trade, food service, and traditional trade channels. • Drive brand awareness through trade promotions, exhibitions, and partnerships Sales Management: • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets in Oman. • Monitor sales performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. • Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue targets. • Participate in forecasting, stock allocation, and inventory planning. • Conduct market visits and audits to assess sales execution and brand presence. • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to position our products effectively. • Provide monthly reports on revenue, market share, and client retention. • Track sales performance, client feedback, and inventory needs using CRM tools Customer Relationship Management: • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. • Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance service levels. • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and concerns. • Develop strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty. Management Standards: • Ensure product availability and optimal stock levels in the region. • Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, providing coaching and feedback. • Implement company policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Conduct market visits and audits to assess sales execution and brand presence Administrative Work: • Prepare and submit reports on sales performance, market trends, and competition. • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales strategies with company objectives. • Maintain proper documentation and records for sales activities.
Skills
Qualifications and experience: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the FMCG sector frozen category. Knowledge of Oman market is essential • Persuasive negotiator, problem-solver, and culturally savvy. • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills • SAP, Microsoft • Languages: Proficiency in English and Arabic is required. • Valid Oman driving license
