HSE Project Manager – Support Offshore Projects (20/11/2025)

We are looking for a HSE Project Manager – Support Offshore Projects for one of our clients with the following details:



Location: La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, France



Contract Duration: 6 months (with 3 optional extensions of 6 months each)



Mobility: Frequent travel within France, Europe, and occasional offshore assignments



Qualification and Experience Required:




  • Minimum 12 years in HSE, with at least 2 years in offshore wind farm electrical connections.

  • Proven experience in survey preparation and offshore HSE operations.

  • Knowledge of maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC) and IMCA standards (CMID/MISW inspections).

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).

  • BOSIET/GWO or equivalent offshore survival and height safety certification.

  • PASS HT (supervisory electrical work) and H0V B0 electrical qualification.

  • Valid driver’s license and offshore medical fitness certificate.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to complex project environments.

  • Availability to start immediately (5 January 2026) to ensure project continuity.


The Offshore HSE Project Manager:




  • Ensures that the service providers understand and implement all the HSE specifications in the Contract,


To do this, he/she will have to:




  • Familiarize yourself with operations, companies (including subcontractors), schedules and project teams,

  • Participate in operational meetings of projects,

  • Propose, prepare and lead HSE moments and talks,

  • Review the HSE deliverables of the awarding service providers,

  • Prepare and participate in risk analysis sessions prior to operations,

  • Carry out HSE visits,

  • Carry out HSE inspections of vessels (guard vessels, fishing vessels, etc.) in France or abroad and ensure the quality of the HSE inspections carried out by the service providers,

  • Ensure the HSE follow-up of operations by reviewing the "daily progress reports" and analyzing the data transmitted by the Customer representatives on board,

  • Participate, when necessary, in the analysis of HSE events,

  • Participate in the implementation of emergency exercises,

  • Fill in the register of significant HSE events and ensure that it is updated,

  • Collect information from service providers to carry out a monthly report of HSE indicators,

  • Use and save documents on the HSE DIIReM computer network in order to make information available,

  • Participate in the consolidation of feedback,

  • Participate through feedback in the updates of the DIIREM HSE reference framework and specifications,

  • Participate in the cross-functional documentary preparation (DIIREM Info sécurité / environnement, MEMO, etc.),

  • To monitor PPE used for offshore,

  • Ensure regular internal HSE reporting to the HSE surveys coordinator.
