Treasury Manager

Debt Management:
1. Assist in evaluating financing proposals, negotiating contracts, and finalizing details of all types of funded and unfunded credit facilities.
2. Manage the end-to-end financing RFP process, including identifying relevant liquidity pools and groups of lenders and sourcing and evaluating proposals in collaboration with legal, technical, insurance, and other corporate teams.
3. Assist in developing and implementing a debt strategy aligned with Oman Air's transformation program.
4. Manage the airline's debt portfolio and analyze and optimize the debt maturity profile
5. Evaluate refinancing opportunities to reduce interest costs and improve financial flexibility.

Risk Management:
1. Support the management of interest rate and jet fuel price risks in line with the risk appetite defined by management and the board.
2. Identify and assess financial risks associated with Oman Air's debt portfolio.
3. Implement hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate and currency exchange risks.
4. Monitor market conditions and economic indicators to assess their impact on the debt portfolio.

Reporting and Compliance
1. Prepare periodic treasury reports for the management and board reporting
2. Ensure compliance with all debt-related covenants.
3. Prepare and submit required financial reports to shareholders
4. Collaborate with the treasury team to optimize cash flow and debt service payments.
5. Manage debt service schedules and ensure timely payments.

Treasury Systems and Control
1. Develop a robust control environment to comply with the Manual of Authority and treasury management policy.
2. Manage the administration of treasury systems (e.g., online banking platforms, TMS, Swift) and develop related processes, policies, and procedures.
3. Play an active role in implementing the Treasury Management System (TMS)
4. Assist the Vice President of Treasury with strategic corporate initiatives and ongoing business projects.
5. Other duties and tasks that may be assigned by management


8+ years of financial or accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (mandatory). Post-graduate degree/accreditation such as CFA, CMA or CPA is a plus.
Strong ethical conduct with dedication to maintaining ethical standards across all corporate matters and adhering to the aviation industry laws and Code of Conduct.
Demonstrated outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
