Cash Management Manager

General Responsibilities
1. Review and improve the cash flow management process through best cash management practices (e.g., optimization of spend per project), along with implementation of strategies to improve cash flow, such as accelerating accounts receivable, delaying accounts payable, optimizing inventory levels, and managing capital expenditures.
2. Adopt strong reporting mechanisms to ensure that Oman Air is updated on all incurred charges vis-a-vis the agreed terms, thus enabling senior management to have visibility and easily access periodic reports.
3. Implement and maintain cash forecasting and transparent reporting mechanisms.
4. Oversee daily and monthly cash flow projections and fund availability including analyzing surplus funds, negotiating deposit rates with banks and preparing justification reports for management approval.
5. Develop and implement strategies to ensure optimal cash management and liquidity including identifying and mitigating all treasury-related financial risks.
6. Enhance cash flow forecasting accuracy and sensitivity analysis through the implementation of modeling techniques.
7. Analyze the airline’s current cash position and compare with forecasted values.
8. Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess the resilience of Oman Air’s cash position under different economic conditions or operational scenarios.
9. Monitor the impact of financial activities, such as vendor payments and ticket sales, on cash flows.
10. Coordinate with accounting to process payments with service providers, local suppliers, and other entities as per contract terms/conditions.
11. Optimize cash management practices within the airline, including streamlining payment processes and negotiating favorable terms.
12. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the airline's cash position, such as currency exchange or credit risks.
13. Oversee daily and monthly cash flow projections and fund availability, including analyzing surplus funds, negotiating deposit rates with banks, and preparing justification reports for management approval.
14. Provide regular cash updates to the Treasury Vice President and broader senior management.
15. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that could impact cash flow and liquidity.


8+ years of financial or accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (mandatory). Post-graduate degree/accreditation such as CFA, CMA or CPA is a plus.
Strong ethical conduct with dedication to maintaining ethical standards across all corporate matters and adhering to the aviation industry laws and Code of Conduct.
Demonstrated outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
