Job Title: Techno Sales Engineer
Location: Oman
Experience Required: 5-8 years in ELV, ICT, CCTV, and Fire and Safety systems, with experience in the Oman market preferred.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic
Techno Sales Engineer to support our sales team in providing technical solutions and demonstrations to clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ELV, ICT, CCTV, and Fire and Safety systems, combined with excellent communication skills to present solutions effectively. This role bridges technical expertise with sales acumen, ensuring that client requirements are met with the best-fit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Proposal Preparation:
- Analyze client requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and system designs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proposals align with client needs and budget constraints.
Technical Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the technical capabilities and advantages of proposed solutions.
- Address client technical queries during meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
Site Surveys and Feasibility Studies:
- Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure project feasibility.
- Recommend optimized solutions based on site conditions and project requirements.
Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and competitors in the ELV, ICT, CCTV, and Fire and Safety sectors.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs and vendors to ensure access to the best solutions and pricing.
Tendering and Bid Support:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of technical documentation for tenders and RFPs (Request for Proposals).
- Support the sales team in bid clarification meetings and negotiations.
Client Interaction:
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of techno sales experience in ELV, ICT, CCTV, or Fire and Safety systems.
- Previous experience in Oman is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of local market dynamics.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other design tools.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical expertise in designing and implementing ELV, ICT, CCTV, and Fire and Safety systems.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, project, and technical teams.
- Knowledge of Oman regulations and standards for ELV and safety systems.
