Key Activities
- Pricing Analysis
- Design and develop new and innovative pricing plans for fixed, mobile, ICT products and tailored solutions
- To handle pricing activities by conducting analysis and studies to identify the most appropriate pricing plans/packages for existing and new products
- Assists the Pricing Manager in managing and developing Pricing strategy for Enterprise segment in line with Omantel strategy.
- Develops and conducts necessary analysis, Business Cases and Feasibility Studies to achieve successful determination of pricing propositions.
- Develop and implement pricing policies to ensure that all customized offers are consistent with pricing strategies
- Identifies and evaluates sales opportunities, develops customized offers and support in writing proposals.
- Defines business requirements, reviews and price changes for projects
- Presents information and recommendations to line manager and GM whenever required
- Works collaboratively with team members and all stakeholders to build strong relationships.
- Coordination and Follow-up
- Teams with product managers to properly plan, strategize and execute pricing or promotional proposals
- Follows-up the approval process to obtain the necessary approvals for the proposed prices and tariffs
- Coordinate with Strategic Finance to ensure that that pricing models and assumptions are within the company approved parameters
- Coordinates with Market Research and BI to conduct Market surveys to assess market trends and needs
- Tariff Monitoring
- Regular review of performance and pricing of existing products to ensure competiveness and relevance in the market
- Monitors and reports the price and tariff performance of the competitors and recommends actions to be taken
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge / Technical Skills
- Excellent analytical skills in identifying and extracting required data.
- Extensive experience of consulting and communicating/presenting to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Advanced skills in Contract & bids management.
- Advanced knowledge on MS Excel application is essential and adequate knowledge on MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
- Strong Planning and organization skills
Education /Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant filed.
- Preferably in Business, Marketing and Statistics
Experience
- Senior Specialist: a minimum of 6 with bachelor’s degree
