We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Chef to join our team in Oman. The successful candidate will support our head chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes (Lebanese Cuisine), ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in preparing and cooking menu items according to standard recipes and specifications
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean, hygienic, and organized
- Contribute to menu planning and development of new dishes
- Help in monitoring and managing kitchen inventory and supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff
- Proven experience as a sous chef, line cook, or junior chef
- Passion for food and cooking with a creative flair
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality and presentation
- Relevant culinary qualification or certification is a plus
