Job Title: Strategic Planning Expert

Job Summary:


The Strategic Planning Expert will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, the expert will collaborate with senior leadership to formulate long-term strategies, assess organizational performance, and ensure alignment with the Fund’s mission, vision, and objectives. This role is critical in driving organizational growth, efficiency, and sustainability through data-driven insights, strategic foresight, and innovative planning approaches.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Plan Development & Execution:

  • Lead the development of short, medium, and long-term strategic plans, in alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Work closely with the CEO and senior management to set priorities, identify strategic opportunities, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee the execution of the strategic plan, ensuring alignment across all departments and functions.

2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Design and implement performance management frameworks to monitor the progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Regularly report to the CEO on organizational performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze and interpret data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary.

3. Research & Market Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the entity economic trends, and government policies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify emerging risks and opportunities within the entity landscape, providing actionable insights to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Benchmark the Fund’s performance against industry best practices and global standards.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work with all departments (Finance, Operations, Communications, etc.) to ensure their strategies are aligned with the overall organizational goals.
  • Facilitate strategy workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions with internal and external stakeholders to foster a shared vision.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, government bodies, and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on strategic initiatives.

5. Risk Management & Contingency Planning:

  • Identify potential risks to the organization's strategy and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Assist in developing contingency strategies to safeguard the organization from unforeseen challenges, including economic fluctuations, regulatory changes, or market disruptions.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to identify areas for innovation and improvement within the organization’s operations, services, and policies.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in strategic planning methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance organizational effectiveness.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the services, financial institutions, or public sector is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of strategic planning frameworks, performance management, and risk analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire senior leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
  • Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and long-term planning.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
