Undertake complete HVAC project engineering and implementation, including load calculations, equipment selection, material approvals, system layouts, installation/shop drawings, submittal drawings, and as-built drawings.
Develop and review HVAC designs, specifications, technical documentation, and drawings in accordance with project requirements and applicable industry standards.
Prepare and implement Sequence of Operations to meet project requirements and system performance objectives.
Validate engineered Bills of Materials (BOM) and project costs.
Provide engineering support and direction to Electrical, Controls, and other multidisciplinary teams.
Perform basic design and programming activities related to DDC, electronic comfort controls, BMS, and HVAC automation systems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC, refrigeration, electrical distribution, power quality, and related system issues arising at project/customer sites.
Ensure project execution and control comply with contract specifications, approved designs, engineering standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
Conduct technical and techno-commercial evaluation of vendor quotations, support negotiations, and coordinate with mechanical contractors for timely material delivery and installation.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop installation manuals, training documents, QA/QC forms, and other project handover documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong knowledge of DX and chilled-water HVAC systems.
Experience in HVAC design, engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.
Proficiency in HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, drawings, BOQ/BOM, and technical submittals.
Knowledge of DDC/BMS and HVAC controls.
Strong vendor, contractor, consultant, and client coordination skills.
Good understanding of HVAC standards, specifications, and engineering practices.
