Roles & Responsibilities

Education::

Degree/Diploma in Technical Engineering discipline or QS

Preferably certified as Quantity Surveyor with the minimum assessment as "Chartered Surveyor"

Experience::

Minimum 6 years' experience in Quantity Surveying in a major Construction environment. Minimum 3 years' experience with activity or work sampling techniques and relevant statistical methods. Minimum 3 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry. NOTE: For Nationals min 2-3 years experience can be considered.

Specific Skills:

Good interpersonal and communication skills Shall be able to continuously interact with Company Construction and QS teams. Both accuracy and consistency are good personal requirements. Be able to challenge Cost Estimates prepared by others and Third Party.

Role Summary:

Has the potential to develop up to a Cost Estimator /Engineer position for large projects. Review of proposed "Star Rates" on description and validation. Providing all type of measurements or valuations of Direct costs in Cost Estimates at all phases in the ORP development process. Single focal point responsible for all Quantity Surveying issues at Interior. Final account orientation
