The Engine Owner is accountable for the end-to-end management of offloaded engine maintenance events performed within Safran Partner shops.
Acting as the focal point throughout the Shop Visit, he/she coordinates all internal and external stakeholders (across functions & sites) to ensure the fulfillment of Safran's commitments toward the Customer Team in terms of Turnaround Time (TAT), cost control and customer satisfaction, from engine removal until redelivery to the Customer.
In this capacity, the Engine Owner is responsible for:
- anticipating and defining the most appropriate shop visit scenarios based on technical findings, material availability and industrial constraints;
- identifying, assessing and mitigating all operational, technical and commercial risks impacting schedule, scope or cost;
- consolidating cross-functional recovery plans and arbitrating the optimum maintenance strategy throughout the shop visit;
- ensuring continuous execution follow-up in order to meet contractual commitments in terms of TAT, cost and customer satisfaction.
The Engine Owner therefore acts as the project leader and decision driver of each engine maintenance event, with full visibility over the engine flow and full accountability for delivery performance.
Missions between our Partners shops in Europe/Middle East and Headquarters (Montereau-sur-le-Jard / Villaroche).
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of the engine, maintenance processes and shop visit drivers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and align multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, customer support, purchasing and Partner shops.
- Strong customer satisfaction mindset, with the ability to represent Safran's commitments and preserve customer confidence when interfacing with Airlines, Lessors and Customer Teams during critical maintenance events.
- High level of internal and external rigor, demonstrating demanding execution standards both within Safran organizations and across partner MRO shops to ensure adherence to quality, TAT and cost objectives.
- Highly organized, autonomous and capable of managing multiple concurrent engine events, priorities and escalations in a fast-paced operational environment.
